A bump for this Hills star! Audrina Patridge is expecting her first child with her fiancé, Corey Bohan, she confirms to Us Weekly exclusively.
Patridge, 30, posted her baby announcement via Instagram on Friday, December 18, alongside an adorable photo of herself holding her Clearblue pregnancy test. “I finally figured out what to get Corey for Christmas! #babyontheway #ClearblueConfirmed #ad (blog post with all the details will be up today!) xoxo,” the future first-time mom captioned the snap.
Patridge, who rose to fame on MTV’s The Hills, tells Us how she reacted to the pregnancy test, which was taken at her parents’ house in L.A. “I was super-excited!” she recalls to Us, adding that the first person she told was Bohan. “I asked him to have a look at the test and make sure I wasn’t seeing things!” she tells Us. “You never really expect it to say ‘Pregnant.’ He had a big smirk on his face and was really happy about it.”
Though the news was a huge surprise, the couple are looking forward to parenthood. “I feel at this point in my life I am ready to be a mama!” Patridge tells Us.
The couple’s happy news follows their recent engagement. Us confirmed last month that the BMX biker — who’s made numerous cameos on The Hills through the years — had popped the question to the former reality star after seven years of off-again, on-again dating. Bohan, 33, proposed to Patridge over a romantic dinner at the Summit House in Orange County, California.
The TV personality has known that Bohan is The One since her 2008 split from ex and Hills costar Justin “Bobby” Brescia. “With other guys I dated in the past, I never felt safe,” she told Us back in 2013. “We’d go out and I felt like I had to defend them, and so with Corey I feel like I’m safe — he’s a guy’s guy. He’s not afraid to get dirty, and that’s what I like about him.”
Patridge will be sharing her adventures and pregnancy updates on her blog, The Inside Out. “So far, my bra has just gone up a size!” she tells Us. “I still work out and go about my normal routine. I just get tired easily.”
