Ayesha Curry has a tip for all you expecting parents: Skip the wipes warmer! “Biggest mistake ever,” the mother of two tells Us Weekly. “People waste money on that!” But definitely invest in a multipurpose ointment. “It goes a long way for everything from dry skin to diaper cream,” says Curry, who recommends Honest Curing Balm.

The Glad spokeswoman, 27, and her NBA star husband, Steph Curry, are parents of daughters Riley, 3, and Ryan, 9 months. “We’ve always said three kids,” Ayesha tells Us. “Steph’s such a good dad for girls, he’s super attentive and he’s, like, not too manly to get down on the floor and play with them and have a tea party.”

To keep their four-year marriage hot, The Seasoned Life cookbook author and the MVP Golden State Warriors point guard, 28, carve out alone time at their five-bedroom Walnut Creek, California, mansion. “I do a lot of meal prep so it’s ready to go after we put the kids to sleep,” says Ayesha. “Even if we’re just watching HGTV with a glass of wine, that’s date night at my house.”

Ayesha also opened up about Steph’s now infamous post-game interview with attractive female sports reporter Rosalyn Gold-Onwude. In December 2015, Ayesha interrupted the televised conversation by kissing Steph on the shoulder before making eye contact with the camera. Within minutes, social media exploded. “Funny thing about that Ayesha Curry interview thing, Rosalyn looks to me to be fully dressed and covered. So what’s the problem?” asked one person on Twitter, while another wrote, “just cuz the reporter fine too don’t mean you gotta block your man. Lol.”

“Someone was like, ‘Go give your man a kiss,’ and I’m like, ‘OK,’ and ran over and gave him a kiss and went to go run off, and [Gold-Onwude] was like, ‘No, no, no, stay here, I want to ask you questions too,’” says Ayesha. “So I just stood there awkwardly.”

She continues: “It’s so funny though, how people can make up the craziest things … I usually just stay silent on that stuff. It’s so stupid.”

Ayesha has a Food Network show in the works, tentatively titled At Home With Ayesha
