Bethenny Frankel reignited old romance rumors with friend Warren Lichtenstein, a hedge-fund mogul, when the pair were seen vacationing in Saint-Tropez on Thursday, July 19.
In a snapshot, the 42-year-old rocked platforms, a sparkly skirt and tanktop alongside a casual-dressed Linctenstein, who was talking on his cellphone. Despite their private vacation, a source close to Frankel tells Us Weekly that the pair are not dating.
"They are friends. Nothing more," an insider explained.
It is the third trip that the former Real Housewives of New York star took with the billionaire, who has been there for her amidst a bitter divorce battle with ex Jason Hoppy. (The pair, married in 2010, share a 3-year-old daughter, Bryn). In October, the Skinnygirl mogul went to Hong Kong with Lichtenstein, sans Bryn. In December, shortly after filing for divorce, she spent Christmas with him in Aspen, Colo.
Lichtenstein also has own legal problems to deal with, as the New York Times reported that he's involved in a lawsuit with his former fiancé, socialite Annabelle Bond, mother of his 5-year-old daughter. Annabelle was recently awarded $50,000 a month in child support by a Hong Kong court, and Lichtenstein is reportedly claiming that Annabelle's current boyfriend, Andrew Cader, helped her hide her own assets to increase her child support payments from Lichtenstein.
During a May interview with Good Day New York, Frankel called her breakup with Hoppy a "brutal, unnatural situation." "I have to say, divorce is the most difficult thing you could ever go through in your entire life … I never heard how excruciating it is,' she added.
The Bravo star, whose talk show Bethenny premieres Sept. 9 on FOX, is set to go on her nationwide Calling All My Girls Tour on July 29 in Houston, Tex. During the tour stops, she'll welcome attendees and feature cocktails, games and will share details with fans about her talk show.
