Blake Lively revealed if husband Ryan Reynolds really did cry when she gave birth to their daughter James

Deadpool is dead inside! Ryan Reynolds is in baby heaven, but that doesn't mean he turned on the waterworks when he welcomed daughter James late last year. While promoting her new film, The Age of Adaline, Blake Lively disagreed with his recent comment that he cried like a "human sprinkler" when she gave birth.

"Um, I don't know if that's an accurate description," she said to PopSugar, laughing. "He is charming. He does come up with funny things. But no, he was not crying that much."

Lively, 27, also shut down another rumor this week, via an Instagram post on Wednesday, April 15. Remember when she said that she rubs truffles on her breasts for James? Yep, she was only kidding!

"…I can't understand why people don't take me seriously as a chef," Lively captioned a silly snapshot. (She was joined by her half-sister Robyn Lively, aka Teen Witch!) In one hashtag, she added: "#WhoPutsTrufflesOnTheirNipplesDearGodCantReportersTakeAJoke."

The Gossip Girl alum and Reynolds, 38, have yet to introduce their baby girl to the world, but have been gushing about their new addition in interviews. "I feel like I've figured out the most important thing to me," Lively told Allure in its May 2015 cover story. "Having a child makes you realize that we pass on for a reason. You think, 'I have to go, because it makes room for you.'"
