Congratulations are in order for TV presenter Cat Deely and her comedian husband, Patrick Kielty: The couple are expecting baby No. 2!
Deely, who is mom of Milo, 2, tweeted her exciting news. “Over the moon to share that Milo is going to be a big brother,” wrote the So You Think You Can Dance host on Saturday, January 13. “Can’t wait to be a family of four in the spring. We’re all so excited.”
The 41-year-old Brit had babies on the brain last summer. “I would love some more. But I have to get on with it if I do,” she told the Mirror in June. “When you go for your check-ups they call you a ‘geriatric mum.’ That is the terminology they use, I swear. They say, ‘Ma’am, you are triple high risk.’” (Being pregnant after age 35 makes certain complications more likely including birth defects and premature birth, according to March of Dimes).
Deely also got real about how motherhood has made her anxious. “I am awake all night listening out for him. I am checking he is breathing. I am depressed I will never sleep again,” she told the U.K. paper.
Deely and Kielty, 46, tied the knot in Rome in September 2012 after less than a year of dating. “It was quite knock-your-socks off for both of us,” she admitted. “There were no more games and it all happened very quickly because were older and comfortable in our own skin.”
