Taking a leaf out of Gwyneth Paltrow's book? Drew Barrymore proved that her separation from husband Will Kopelman after nearly four years of marriage isn't going to impact their sense of family, when she shared Mother's Day with his mother and her kids, Olive, 3, and Frankie, 2.
Barrymore, 41, shared a photograph of herself, Kopelman's mom, Coco Kopelman, playing with Frankie on the beach, the little girl with her hair in a cute topknot.
"Three generations," the happy mom captioned the snap. "Grammy. Me and Frank's. @cocokopelman #happymothersday #iheartgrammy."
Her relationship with Coco clearly goes beyond just being a great "Grammy." Later in the day Barrymore shared another picture that showed herself drinking what appears to be a cocktail with her future ex-mother-in-law and her future ex-sister-in-law, Jill Kargman.
"#newschool #iloveauntyjill #iheartgrammy #happymothersday #greatmoms #2016 @jillkargman @cocokopelman," she captioned the shot.
In April, Barrymore announced her spit from her husband, but made it quite clear that their family ties would remain strong.
"Sadly, our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family," Barrymore and the art consultant said in a joint statement to Us Weekly. "Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on."
