“#TBT Goes back to that one night in China when i decided to get my daughters name tattooed on me,” the 36-year-old NBA star captioned a shirtless pic that shows the baby’s first name on one shoulder and her middle name on the other. “Kaavia James Union Wade!”

Wade also added the hashtag “#paternityleave,” which he’s used on multiple photos since the couple welcomed their first child together via surrogate on November 7.

Union, 46, revealed the happy news of the little one’s arrival the following day alongside a series of pictures. She began the announcement alongside the pics of she and her love cradling the baby with the lyrics to Bill Withers’ song, “Lovely Day.”

The Being Mary Jane actress captioned the post: “We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days. Welcome to the party sweet girl!”

Wade — who is also dad to Zaire, 16, Zion, 11, and Xavier, 4, from previous relationships — reposted the same photos from the hospital.

Union has been open about her struggle with infertility in recent years, including writing about it in her book, We’re Going to Need More Wine, which was released in 2017.

“I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” she wrote. “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”

She added: “For so many women, and not just women in the spotlight, people feel very entitled to know, ‘Do you want kids?’ A lot of people, especially people that have fertility issues, just say ‘no’ because that’s a lot easier than being honest about whatever is actually going on. People mean so well, but they have no idea the harm or frustration it can cause.”

The Miami Heat star praised the actress — who he wed in April 2014 — for sharing her story. “My wife is one strong individual!!!” he tweeted in October 2017.
