There she is! Eva Mendes makes being a new mom look like a piece of cake. Ryan Gosling’s lady love, who just welcomed her first child, daughter Esmeralda Amada Gosling, five months ago, looked radiant while doing a shoot in New York City on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
The Place Beyond the Pines star sported a retro-glam look for the shoot, donning a plaid dress and short, curled locks. She was shooting a Spring 2015 Eva Mendes campaign for New York and Company.
The first-time mom hasn’t been photographed since she stepped out with Gosling for a date night in Beverly Hills, Calif., last month. Wearing a short leopard dress, Mendes showed off her toned legs while en route to see comic legend Don Rickles’ show.
The fun night out was comparably sane to her nights in with baby Esmeralda, though. “I’m completely exhausted,” the 40-year-old told Violet Grey‘s digital publication, The Violet Files, after welcoming her little girl. “I thought my wild nights were over but these are some of the wildest nights I’ve ever had!”
“I cannot believe that by the time my mother was 24 she had three kids under the age of 4,” she added. “She was in Cuba and totally alone. So when it’s the wee hours of the night and I’m feeling a bit insane, I think about her and realize that I have no right to complain about anything.”
