Two nights is enough! Jessica Simpson has been enjoying a bit of adult time with husband Eric Johnson in New York City, but after two nights away the Dukes of Hazzard actress was desperate to get back to her kids!
The recently married couple jetted out of Los Angeles on Monday, Sept. 29 (Simpson wearing a pair of tiny, black lace shorts), for a two-night stop in New York where they enjoyed a dinner date at NYLO Hotel on Tuesday. The couple also caught up with Johnson’s pals Steve Gleason (a former pro-footballer and ALS sufferer) and fellow former-NFL star Scott Fujita.
“Had an amazing time last night with Eric’s good friend, Steve Gleason!” the Weight Watchers spokeswoman wrote, as she shared a picture of her with the brave footballer via Instagram. “Steve apologized for not making it to our wedding, but said he would be there for our 10yr anniversary 🙂 #teamgleason #ALS,” she added.
But despite enjoying her time in the Big Apple, as Simpson and Johnson zoomed to the airport to catch an evening flight home, it was clear the doting mom-of-two had only one thing on her mind: her kids.
Sharing an adorable picture of Maxwell, 2, and Ace, 15 months, excited Simpson was feeling impatient to get back to Los Angeles, captioning the snap, “I need to be home ASAP! #family.”
