Changing diapers doesn’t stink! Just ask John Stamos. The Fuller House actor is the one to grab the wipes when his 3-month-old son, Billy, needs a clean nappy.

“It’s the only time I really have him alone, without people around,” the 54-year-old told Us Weekly at his Lindt Excellence Dark Chocolate Event in New York City on Monday, July 9. “What I  find strange is that I use, like, four salves and ointments and powders. And I have to use about four things after that.” But Stamos never gets his hands sticky thanks to a “little butt spatula” that the star calls “genius.” (Try the $7 BabyBump diaper cream applicator brush.)

Stamos and his wife, Caitlin McHugh, welcomed their first child, Billy Christopher, on April 10. His middle name is for Christopher Robin a character in Winnie-the-Pooh. “There’s a guitar in the hotel room. I’m staying in right now. I played him ‘House at Pooh Corner’ by Kenny Loggins,” gushed Stamos on Monday. “His whole nursery is covered in Pooh, Winnie the Pooh.”

The Disney-obsessed couple (he proposed at the Anaheim, California, theme park!) have not yet ventured to the Magic Kingdom with their little one. But McHugh, 32, is ready to load up the car. “I’m postponing it as long as I can,” Stamos told Us. “She wants to go now. She already wants to take him to Disney. He’s too small!”

Billy might not be ready for rollercoasters but he has been to tourist destination Times Square in NYC. Stamos shared an Instagram picture of their sightseeing trip on Sunday, July 8. And the response was mixed. “The dad shaming!” Stamos told Us. “A lot of people were commenting, ‘You can’t be holding like that and you shouldn’t be bringing him there yet, he’s too young!’ I have so many dad-shamers. It’s crazy.”

Stamos lets the comments roll off his back though. He has more important things on his mind: like what the future holds for his family. “I spend the most time just day dreaming about what his and our life will be like,” he gushed. “There’s no wasting time anymore. That’s the best thing about being a dad.”
