The teenager’s allegation is “causing bodily injury to a child through recent act/failure to act: hitting/punching, according to People. While Jon, 43, is not named in the CYS report, Collin spoke about the alleged incident with the DJ in a since-deleted Instagram post.

“My dad is a liar,” he wrote last week. “Yesterday he beat me up and thought nothing of it, he punched me in the face and gave me a swollen nose and I started bleeding. He then continued to kick me in the ribs after I was on the floor. He is a liar.

“That’s the only incident we are aware of at this point,” District Attorney John Adams told Us Weekly in a statement. “There was no citation or charges filed as a result of the incident.”

Kate Gosselin spoke to the outlet on Thursday, September 10, saying that she does not want [her] children around” her ex-husband.

You do not punch and kick your children,” the Kate Plus Date star, 45, said. “You do not kick a child. I don’t want to hear any excuses from anyone, not from his father, not from local law enforcement, not from court personnel whose job is supposedly to ensure the best interests of my children. There is a child abuse law, PA 23, section 8i states that doing any of the following, regardless of whether it causes injury, is child abuse, and first on that list is kicking. Period.”

She and Jon welcomed Collin and his sextuplet siblings — Aaden, Leah, Alexis, Joel and Hannah — in 2004, joining now-19-year-old twins Madelyn and Cara.

Hannah has been living with Jon since 2018, and the former reality star was granted sole physical and legal custody of Collin in December of that same year when Kate failed to show up at the court hearing.

Collin wished his dad a happy 43rd birthday in April, writing via Instagram that Jon is “always there” for him. “To the coolest most amazing dad, the one who’s always had my back, thank you so much and have a great one!!” the teen gushed at the time.

He spoke fondly of Jon’s girlfriend, Colleen Conrad, the following month when he wished her a happy Mother’s Day — but appeared to shade his mom when he didn’t post to social media about her as well.

“Yes a mother clothes her children and cooks for them but it’s the best feeling when your mother or mother figure is one of your best friends and always has your back, the one who always shares that laugh of the humor only you guys get,” Collin captioned a selfie with Conrad in May. “I could call it Mother’s Day, but it’s more than that, Colleen, you are so much more than a mother to me, you are one of my guidelines and one of my guiding lights.”
