Justin Timberlake Gushes Over Son Silas: He’s Smart, But Didn’t Get That From Me

Didn’t get it from his daddy. Justin Timberlake gushed over his “smart” 18-month-old son during a Friday, November 4, appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Watch what he said in the sweet clip above!

According to the Trolls actor, 35, the toddler — whom he shares with wife Jessica Biel — did not inherit his intelligence from his father.

"He keeps up with all the words to 'Can't Stop the Feeling,' it's kind of crazy," Timberlake told Ellen DeGeneres. "I feel like I'm that guy who's just bragging about his kid on national TV. But, he's pretty rad."

He jokingly added: "[Silas is] kind of smart. He’s kind of smart, you guys. He didn't get that from me.”

During his chat with the talk show host, 58, the former ‘NSync singer also said that his little guy is completely enamored by his new animated film, Trolls.

"One of the perks of doing this film was that I got to screen it early for my son, and he already knows all the characters," the proud dad said. "He knows, like, 12 different characters. He's a genius, he really is."

Making Silas’ second Halloween particularly special, Timberlake and Biel, 34 — who tied the knot in October 2012 — dressed up with their son as characters from the DreamWorks film.

The All-New Mickey Mouse Club alum took to Instagram on Monday, October 31, to document the trio’s evening of trick-or-treating as trolls.

“When you make your whole family dress up as the characters from the movie you're in but your wife secretly loves it and your son won't keep his troll wig on… Shoutout to @jessicabiel #2BranchsandaPoppy #Trolls#didIuseaholidayforselfpromo,” he captioned a photo of the family rocking their colorful costumes. “Happy Halloween, everybody!!!!"
