Mom's sense of style? Kate Beckinsale brought her lookalike daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, to the Fiji Water 2013 Pink Party at Barker Hangar on Saturday, Oct. 19 in Santa Monica, Calif. The 40-year-old actress posed on the red carpet with 14-year-old Lily, who is looking more and more like her every day.
For the fun girls' night out, Beckinsale styled a sexy red Donna Karan dress and wore her curly brunette hair up in a ponytail. Lily wore a short gold dress with fringe embellishments and a topknot hairstyle.
An eyewitness tells Us Weekly that Beckinsale's daughter, with ex Michael Sheen, seems to be a "little fashionista" at the A-list bash, which was also attended by Rachel Zoe, Anne Hathaway and Usher. "She was taking video and pictures of the whole show," the insider says of the event's fashion show. "She and Kate looked like they were having a blast together dancing in their seat to the music, making each other laugh and pointing out different looks they loved."
After the show, the mother-daughter duo checked out a table of designer handbags on display for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Program at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute.
Though the two seemed to be bonding over a love of fashion at the event, the Total Recall actress admitted in an August 2012 interview with Allure that she does occasionally embarrass her daughter. "I can't dance at a party where there are teenagers without [them] clearing the dance floor," she said. "Those are the things that make me go, 'F—, I'm old' . . . you're a parent [and] everyone leaves." After splitting with Sheen, 44, in 2003, the British actress went on to marry Underworld director Len Wiseman in 2004.
