Kate Middleton’s Uncle Says She and Prince William Won’t “Stop at Two” Kids

Kate Middleton and Prince William want more kids
Kate Middleton's uncle Gary Goldsmith says the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William will have more kids after baby No. 2: "There'll be a girl in the mix at some point"

Two…and counting? As the world anxiously awaits the birth of Kate Middleton and Prince William's second child, many are hoping the Duke and Duchess welcome a little girl. But Middleton's uncle Gary Goldsmith (brother of Carole Middleton) says there will be other opportunities for Prince George to get a sister if Royal Baby No. 2 turns out to be another boy.

"I don't think they'll stop at two, so if it isn't a girl this time round, people shouldn't be too disappointed," Goldsmith, 49, told Hello! of his niece, 33, and her husband, 32. "I'm sure there'll be a girl in the mix at some point."

If and when the couple does have a daughter, she's sure to get her mother's stunning good looks. "Kate was a beautiful girl and, if she were to have a girl, she'll be equally as beautiful," Middleton's uncle added.

As evidenced by the frenzy of activity around the Lindo Wing at Paddington's St. Mary's hospital — where Prince George was born nearly two years ago — the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge could go into labor any day now. Goldsmith, for one, is hoping for April 29, his 50th birthday and Middleton's fourth wedding anniversary with Prince William.

In the meantime, the second-time mom-to-be is taking it easy at Kensington Palace after a weekend visit to her parents' home in Bucklebury, where she and Prince George enjoyed a trip to Bucklebury Farm.

"George was in a cute jacket and was having the time of his life, if those giggles were anything to go by," an eyewitness told Us, adding that Middleton looked amazingly slim from the back. "If tradition is right, that means she must be having a boy!"
