Music has charms to soothe a savage beast—but only Katy Perry will do for one particularly crying baby.
In a video posted to YouTube by user Eva Baker, a fussy baby girl is shown in a car seat, kicking her legs as she cries in frustration.
The situation is quickly remedied, however, thanks to Perry. The star’s 2013 hit single “Dark Horse” with Juicy J is played, and the baby’s face immediately changes.
As Juicy J raps, “Y’all know what it is / Katy Perry / Juicy J / Let’s rage,” the cute tot nods her head in approval and wiggles along to the beat. She begins to laugh excitedly as Perry enters the song, crooning, “I knew you were / You were gonna come to me / And here you are / But you better choose carefully.”
The priceless video was shared by Perry herself, who linked to it via Twitter and wrote, “Available for babysitting at 10 dollars an hour & 4 Oreos.”
