Staying positive! Khloé Kardashian is not letting the turmoil in her relationship with Tristan Thompson interfere with the joy of welcoming her first child.
A source tells Us that Kardashian, who gave birth to her and Thompson’s daughter on Thursday, April 12, just days after news broke that the NBA player had been unfaithful to her, is choosing to focus on her baby.
“Khloe has been waiting for this moment her entire life. She is doing everything she can to not let this ruin that,” the source said. “She is trying to stay in the most positive state for her and her daughter.”
The source added: “She’s trying not to let this pain and humiliation overshadow the most incredible moment in her life.”
When the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 33, announced her pregnancy via Instagram in December 2017 she said that having a baby was her “greatest dream realized,” so now she’s putting the pain aside to fully enjoy motherhood. “There’s nothing to be said right now. She’s trying to enjoy this moment and is trying to only be happy right now so when she looks back at this moment in the life, she’ll only look back with happiness,” the source continued. “You only have a child once. This will be the first for a lot of things for Khloe. She just wants it to be just like how she’s always dreamed of.”
As previously reported, Thompson, 27, made headlines on Tuesday, April 10, after various outlets published photos and videos of him getting close to multiple women throughout the couple’s relationship. Us Weekly also confirmed on Friday, April 13, that the Cleveland Cavaliers player has also been seeing a woman named Tania Joyce Benitah since at least November.
E! hasn’t announced when the next season of the reality show will premiere, but a source told Us that cameras were filming in Los Angeles as the Kardashian family found out about Thompson’s infidelity. Meanwhile, the new mom has been living in Cleveland as she awaited the arrival of her baby and chose to take a hiatus from the show.
“Filming is currently underway, but Khloé hadn’t been filming since she went to Cleveland ahead of the birth. She just wanted to have those few weeks of no cameras around,” another source told Us. “Yes, the cheating scandal will be dealt with, no one knows how yet.”
