Kim Kardashian talks about her daughter North West and the challenges of motherhood; "I love being a mom!" she says.

Kim takes on mommyhood! Kim Kardashian spoke to parenting blog Romy and The Bunnies about her 12-month-old daughter North West and the challenges, as well as triumphs, of motherhood in an exclusive interview.

"I love being a mom!" gushed Kardashian, 33. "It's the most rewarding feeling! I really love every phase! Just the way my daughter laughs with me, all of the small things in life you appreciate!"

Those small things include sweet moments, like "taking a nap with her," the reality TV star said. "We cuddle and fall asleep holding each other. It's my favorite time just snuggling with her."

Though snuggles abound at her Calabasas, Calif. home, Kardashian admitted that the biggest challenge in parenthood is actually being away from Nori while working. "I took a hiatus [from work] after I had the baby," the Dash co-founder said, "and found it challenging to start working again because I didn't want to spend any time away." The solution, she found, was simply, "you adjust and prioritize, and just figure it out!"

Indeed, her career has evolved since giving birth to her daughter last June. "You become more selective and work on projects that are so meaningful," she said, "because you want every other waking moment spent with your family."

She advised other mothers to focus on their inner needs, too. "You have to remember though to make time for yourself," she said. "If you feel good, you will be happy in your career and family life and everyone is happy!"
