It’s not exactly a secret that Kim Zolciak has babies on the brain. The Don’t Be Tardy star told Us Weekly in October that she and NFL husband Kroy Biermann regularly talk about expanding their family. “I would love to have another little boy,” she admitted. “I am just obsessed with my boys.”
The 39-year-old reality star and Biermann are parents of KJ, 6, Kash, 5, and 4-year-old twins Kaia and Kane. Biermann adopted her daughters Brielle, 20, and Ariana, 16, from a previous relationship. And though six kids seems like plenty — Zolciak revealed during a recent appearance on Steve Harvey that she wants Biermann to have his vasectomy reversed.
“I went back to work seven days after I had KJ, a couple of weeks after I had Kash, and shortly after I had the twins,” Zolciak told Harvey. “I didn’t really have a break. So I dream of having a baby and just six weeks off, and living in that fantasy world.” To this Harvey, 60, replied: “Can’t you just have the time off? You gotta have a baby? Why don’t you just take six weeks off?”
Shortly after the interview aired, social media was flooded with comments — and many of them were nasty. “Ugh. Enough. She doesn’t even take care of the kids she has now,” wrote one person on Facebook. Added another: “It’s easy to say you want more kids when you don’t take care of the ones u have.”
A third accused the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum of trying save her marriage: “She is trying to keep him from leaving. Child support for all those kids will be hell and he has no job.”
Though Zolciak has not yet responded to the criticism, plenty of fans came to her defense. As one supporter pointed out: “They are a wonderful couple . . . I think if they want more they should do what they want. It’s their life.”
