Kristin Cavallari skipped out on her 10-year high school reunion on Saturday, Nov. 28, but the Laguna Beach alum had a perfectly good reason for doing so — to keep an eye on her newborn baby girl, Saylor.
“Really sad about missing my 10 year high school reunion last night… so many people I wanted to see… but at least I have a good excuse,” she captioned a precious photo of herself cradling her 6-day-old daughter.
In the cute snapshot, which she shared via Instagram on Sunday, Nov. 29, Cavallari, 28, has her little girl wrapped in a baby pink blanket and snuggled up against her while she looks relaxed and makeup-free with a gray beanie and white henley shirt.
Cavallari and her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, welcomed their little bundle of joy on Nov. 23.
Saylor is the third child for the happy couple, but their first daughter together. The pair are also parents to Camden, 2, and Jaxon, 18 months.
In September, the former MTV star opened up to Us Weekly about her third pregnancy, expressing her excitement about adding a girl to her growing family.
“I'm feeling great! I'm lucky because all three pregnancies have been relatively easy and they've all been the same," she told Us, adding, “The boys are really excited about having a sister."
Cavallari and Cutler, 32, tied the knot in Nashville in June 2013.
