“The final straw for me was a couple years ago,” the Very Cavallari star told Us Weekly recently. “We were on vacation and I posted a picture and my baby boys got skinny-shamed.”
Cavallari, who shares Camden, 5, Jaxon, 4, and Saylor, 2, with husband Jay Cutler, fired back at her critics. “Yep, I starve my children,” she wrote in the comments section at the time. “Just blocked the most people I’ve ever blocked in my entire life.”
Since then, the Hills alum has learned to ignore noise — and suggests other mothers do too. “After that I was like, ‘I really don’t care,’” she told Us. “I know what I’m doing. My kids are happy and healthy and at the end of the day that’s all the matters.”

For parents of more than one child, Cavallari noted it’s important to carve out special time with each of them, even if it’s a quick playdate on the floor while baby sister naps. “I’ve taken each of them on solo trips . . . and I realize that’s not normal for everybody,” the E! personality told Us, adding that “as along as you can have a little one-on-one time” you’re all good!
