Quick fix! Malin Akerman turned the permanent reminder of her failed marriage to Roberto Zincone into a beautiful display of her love for her infant son Sebastian.
The Trophy Wife star, 35, split from hubby Zincone in December 2013 after he filed for divorce seven months after the couple welcomed their first child. Prior to the split, Akerman had a large “Z” tattooed onto her wrist in honor of her husband’s last name.
But she fixed the ink on Feb. 15 with a trip to Jose Cordova at Miami Ink.
“@josecordova thx for the beautiful tattoo 😉 #miamiink,” she Instagrammed with a picture of the newly altered art.
Cordova added an “S” over the “Z” to represent her 10-month-old son’s initials. Akerman also got a puzzle piece “friendship tattoo” with pal Maranda Widlund on her forearm.
Akerman seems ready to move on with her life, and is embracing her new role as a mother.
“A little morning whale watching w my son,” she tweeted on Feb. 5 with a photo of little Sebastian. “Last week of shooting #TrophyWife for this season! #bestmomentsinlife.”
In late January, the actress talked to Us Weekly about motherhood, gushing, “[There are] so many moments that you didn’t know were going to happen that just excite you that are really small things. All I want to do is hold that baby.”
