Dem babies' daddy time! Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey's twins, Moroccan and Monroe, turned 4 years old on Thursday, April 30, and proud papa Cannon celebrated his son and daughter with a mega birthday breakfast. "Today is the day that God blessed me with the greatest gifts," the America's Got Talent host wrote on Instagram along with a sweet snapshot of his little ones noshing on everything from pancakes to bacon.
While diva-in-training Roe smiled for the camera (with her chocolate chip pancake-stained mouth in a toothy grin), her brother wasn't into the photo shoot. Instead, the birthday boy looked like he wanted to just dig in, already!
Later, Cannon, 34, continued the celebration by posting a party photo that included the twins' mom Carey, and paid tribute to his ex in a sweet message. "Grateful and forever in debt to Mariah Carey for blessing me and the rest of the world with these two angels, Moroccan Scott Cannon and Monroe Cannon, on this day four years ago," Cannon wrote.
Five months after Cannon officially filed for divorce, the rapper and children's book author tells Us Weekly he's keeping his relationship with Carey amicable for the sake of their twins. "My kids kind of get to experience the both worlds," Cannon told Us in March. "They get Manhattan and a little bit of Jersey."
At Cannon's home in New Jersey, the kids each helped design their own bedroom. "They did it all themselves! It was kind of cool watching them pick out all their stuff. My daughter picked out all the princess stuff, and my son picked out all the car stuff. It was fun! My kids' rooms are my favorite rooms in the house!"
