Good genes! Pamela Anderson made headlines in March when she walked the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of The Gunman with her eldest son Brandon by her side.
The 18-year-old child of Anderson, 47, and Tommy Lee, Brandon spent his childhood largely out of the public eye but turned heads at the Hollywood event with his good looks. The Baywatch alum was more than aware of the hubbub, she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, May 21, adding that the hype made it all the way to her son.
“He’s not bad looking, he’s gorgeous,” Anderson began of her son. “I kept them out of the spotlight their whole lives. He’s 18. I thought I’d bring him to the Gunman premiere that he wanted to go to. And yes, it caused a lot of… He doesn’t need anymore confidence… He got a lot of attention over that.”
“My oldest, ya know, the phone doesn’t stop ringing,” continued Anderson, who shares a second son, Dylan, 17, with Lee. “Actually my youngest is a real romantic.”
“They’re great kids,” she added of the two. “I’m really fortunate because it could have been a disaster… I mean, they’re genetically loaded. And I’m so proud of them that they’re such gentlemen, and they’re good to their girlfriends and they spoil everybody rotten. And they spoil me rotten. They’re just real sweethearts.”
Dylan and Brandon may have inherited their kind spirits from Anderson, who was recently honored in a big way for her charitable work with animals. The former Playboy centerfold was knighted by Prince Stefan last fall.
“The first Playmate ever to be knighted, yes,” Anderson told Ellen DeGeneres of her new title of Lady. “The prince is a very big animal fan and you know, has loved all the work I’ve done with animals. I’m actually going to be a Countess in June… Lady Pamela. And then it will be the Countess of the Lily or something like that — it’s an environmental thing.”
Just months after she became Lady Pamela, the star changed her name once more, dropping the title of Mrs. Rick Salomon. She got divorced for the fourth time earlier this year, splitting from Salomon for the second time after previously parting ways from Lee and Kid Rock.
“Now I’m not married again,” she told DeGeneres of her tumultuous romantic history. “I forget about a lot… I get the lesson… I do that a lot.”
As to whether she will marry for a fifth time, Anderson didn’t rule out the possibility. “I don’t know. Who knows? It’s the romantic notion, you never know.”
