Kids will be kids! Pink stopped by Good Morning America on Wednesday, May 25, to talk about motherhood and what her 4-year-old daughter, Willow, thinks of her singing voice.
The pop superstar, 36, revealed that Willow, who appears in the music video for Pink's new single “Just Like Fire,” doesn’t usually approve of her music. “I can tell she likes [my new song] not because she tells me she likes it because she would never do that,” she said. "She finds my singing distracting.”
“When she was 2, she was like, ‘Shh, Mama, terrible voice.’ First of all, who taught you the word terrible?” the “Try” singer quipped.
Pink's new track is a comeback for the Grammy-winning artist after a three-year hiatus. When asked what she has been doing in the interim, she joked, “Lots of bake sales. I love being a mama. I made a choice a long time ago that I was going to have a successful family, and that is my absolute number one goal.”
Pink married retired motocross racer Carey Hart in January 2006 after a few years of on-off dating. The two have taken several breaks in their relationship, but they always come back together. They welcomed Willow in 2011, and now the “Raise Your Glass” singer is thinking about expanding her family.
"I feel like I have two kids right now,” she said, counting Hart as one of them. "I would like a third. No, I want to say that Carey Hart is an awesome husband and a really good dad, but he’s also like a second child.”
