Time to pack the overnight bag! Jessa Duggar is counting down the days until she becomes a first-time mom. The pregnant 19 Kids and Counting star gave Instagram followers a new peek at her growing baby bump on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
“34 weeks 2 days!” Duggar, 22, captioned the cute mirror selfie.
Duggar and her husband, Ben Seewald, tied the knot in November 2014 after 11 months of of dating. Back in March, the dad-to-be opened up about how he first met the reality star at her church in Northwest Arkansas. While talking, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar invited Seewald and his family to a conference.
“Jessa and I only exchanged a few words during our first meeting. ‘Is that an iPhone?’ said I. ‘Yeah, but it’s a really old one,’ she said. I didn’t want to say too much and make a fool of myself or look like I was wild about her (though I was on the inside),” he recalled in their blog. “When we left, I told my Mom, ‘We gotta go to that conference. I’ll even pay for our gas money if I have to.'”
And like that, he was smitten! Seewald, 20, also got to know Jessa better by playing football with her family and visiting their RV/campsite. During one adventure, Jim Bob even passed along his daughter’s phone number!
“I talked to her Dad about getting her number not long afterwards and we began to text,” he wrote. “(A group text though…nothing romantic yet…just getting to know each other.)”
Seewald and Duggar are set to welcome their first child together in November. Her sister Jill Duggar welcomed son Israel back in April. Her brother Josh Duggar — who checked himself into a long-term treatment center in late August — welcomed daughter Meredith with his wife, Anna Duggar, in July.
