Zooey Deschanel is ready to have this baby! The pregnant New Girl star, 35, attended a CPR class in Austin, Texas, with her fiancé, Jacob Pechenik, on Saturday, June 27.
Deschanel covered her baby bump in a comfortable-looking floral mini and gray cardigan for the outing. The soon-to-be first-time parents took a moment to share a sweet kiss after their class at the Austin Area Birthing Center.
Deschanel has been vocal about wanting to ditch her pregnancy diet ASAP. “You can’t eat so many things when you’re pregnant!” she expressed to Jimmy Kimmel during an appearance this past March.
“You can’t have sushi. You can’t have cheese that tastes good,” she went on. “You can have a little bit [of coffee], but I would have, like, four cups a day. And now I can have a half cup, which is a joke! It’s a total joke! You can’t have alcohol,” she added. “I miss that, I like wine.”
Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that Deschanel and Pechenik were engaged this past January. Deschanel was previously married to Death Cab for Cutie vocalist Ben Gibbard until 2012.
