Little Louis Bardo Bullock is an art collector to watch!
On Saturday, the 1-year-old's famous mom, Sandra Bullock, visited an art opening at a gallery in Glendale, Calif.. The show, entitled "This Unvoyageable Gulf Obscure" spotlighted the collage work of artist Patrick Roberts.
And Oscar-winner Bullock, 47, saw two pieces that caught her eye — purchasing two pieces, one of them called "Abe Lincoln and His Time Machine," a guest at the bash told Us Weekly.
And the collages were earmarked for Bullock's adorable little boy! "[The pieces] are actually for little Louis," the guest told Us. "He's a lucky little boy!"
According to a press release, Roberts' new work (featuring cut-up pieces of print media) "explores the idea that in our society we are consumed by one singular story."
Arriving solo for the show, Bullock was "happy" and "in a good mood" greeting friends at the bash — including famed artist Shepard Fairey, who created the iconic red, white and blue Obama Progress poster. "They chatted briefly," the guest says.
Back in October, at an amFAR Inspiration Gala at the Chateau Marmont in L.A., Andy Warhol's iconic "Peaches" print was auctioned off for $14,000 sold to Sandra Bullock's CAA agents, who bought the artwork as a gift for lttle Louis.
"I want to thank Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd for not being cheap f-cks and gifting my son with his first Warhol," a radiant Bullock joked. (Proceeds from the auction benefit amFAR's AIDS research.)
