Sandra Bullock’s Son Louis Made Her Cry on Mother’s Day: Find Out Why!

Sandra Bullock went on and on about the man in her life during The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, May 18 — her son Louis! The Minions actress gushed about his Mother’s Day surprise, and why she couldn’t stop crying!

“He’s beautiful,” Bullock, 50, told host DeGeneres. “It was all happy tears. It was happy tears. It was so much. I just cry at anything now. I feel like, I mean I didn’t have him that way, but I feel like hormonally.”

So, how did Louis, 5, celebrate his famous mom? Instead of coloring a handmade card, he sang his own version of “Bingo Was His Name-O.”

“He said I wrote you a song, and I didn’t have the heart to tell him he plagiarized,” she said, laughing. “And then he played the harmonica in between and then he just kept looking at me.” She added: “He’s all boy with a really tender heart.”

The Oscar winner adopted Louis in January 2012 in New Orleans, amid dealing with her then-husband Jesse James‘ bombshell cheating scandal. She’s yet to publicly date since, but doesn’t seem to mind the single life. Before leaving DeGeneres, she teased that she will definitely be catching Magic Mike XXL in theaters.

“It just — you see the trailers and I know there sort of winking at you — but then I ovulate!” She joked: “You think you’re a strong woman. ‘I can think for myself. I’ve got my own business. I’m a mom.’ [But then] it just happens!”
