Like father, like son! Celebrating his team's 4-0 win over AC Milan, FC Barcelona soccer player Gerard Pique and his girlfriend Shakira shared an adorable picture of their 7-week-old son Milan — dressed in a tiny jersey and matching socks — via their Twitter accounts on Wednesday, March 12.
"We believed from the first minute. We played a great game. To score early it helped a lot and the atmosphere was amazing," Pique, 26, told ITV Sport. "They knew we needed them and it was a great connection with the players and the fans. We were better from the start and we got what we needed."
Shortly after Milan's January 22 birth, Shakira said she hopes her little boy will follow in Pique's footsteps. "Just like his father, baby Milan became a member of FC Barcelona at birth," the 36-year-old Voice mentor said in a statement.
In late February, Shakira posted a Twitter picture of her firstborn in a baby carrier emblazoned with his father's Jersey number. The Colombian superstar will soon appear on The Voice, which premieres March 25 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
"Shakira is super cool," social media correspondent Christina Milian told Us Weekly during the Voots Garden Workshop in Glendale, Calif., March 9. "When I met her [during the blind audition tapings in 2012] she was pregnant. I'm really happy for her now that she had the baby!"
