Tristan Thompson continues to have an amicable relationship with his ex Jordan Craig as they coparent their 2-year-old son, Prince, amid the news that he cheated on Khloé Kardashian with Jordyn Woods.
“It’s not romantic, but Jordan has always been extremely supportive of Tristan,” an insider exclusively reveals to Us Weekly. “Tristan is a very involved father in Prince’s life, but during the basketball season, it’s challenging.”
The source adds: “Jordan isn’t surprised by the latest cheating allegations. This is what professional athletes do.”
News broke on Tuesday, February 19, that the NBA player had cheated on Kardashian, 34, with her younger sister Kylie Jenner’s best friend, 21. Thompson and the model were spotted getting cozy at a SHOREbar party in Santa Monica and back at the athlete’s house on Sunday, February 17.
A different source explained: “Khloé was told by people who saw Tristan and Jordyn making out … and Khloé confronted Tristan, and he admitted it was true.”
The Good American founder and Thompson have split, but he isn’t concerned with their coparenting situation, another source revealed. The couple welcomed their daughter, True, in April 2018.
“Tristan isn’t too worried about not seeing True, or Khloé establishing new rules when it comes to coparenting,” the source told Us. “He honestly doesn’t really care and was over it. He was never trying to win Khloé back. Tristan’s friends are all just thinking, ‘What an idiot.’”
While the new mom has yet to publicly respond to the scandal, she posted a few cryptic messages on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, February 21.
One quote read, “The worst pain is getting hurt by a person you explained your pain to,” and another said, “That betrayal was your blessing!!!”
