The Bachelor in Paradise alum told her Instagram followers in February 2022 that she encapsulated her placenta after second son Reed’s November 2020 birth, writing, “Having two babies very close together, it was important to me to try anything and everything to help my body recover and heal. … I felt like I had a much smoother recovery hormonally and energy-wise. I also think it’s an innate thing for mammals to eat their afterbirth, so I believe there has to be important nutrients that we need in there.”
