Kaling wrote via Instagram in December 2021 that she was “taking stock in good things” before the end of the year, explaining, “I’m grateful I can walk with my daughter on a beach in late December picking up shells and then going back inside the house for dinner. Acknowledging the enormous amount I have to be grateful for makes me actually feel content.”
