Kate Hudson Makes First Public Appearance Since Announcing She’s Pregnant With Her Third Child

With a rough first trimester behind her, Kate Hudson has that pregnancy glow! The actress flew from Los Angeles to Hong Kong for her first public appearance since announcing she and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa are expecting a baby girl together. 

A flawless Hudson, 38, hit the red carpet Tuesday, April 10, at the House of Harry Winston’s second retail store, located inside the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Though her flowing black dress was stunning — as were her Harry Winston jewels — all eyes were on her baby bump and the diamond ring on that finger.

The Almost Famous actress revealed in an April 6 Instagram post that she and Fujikawa will be welcoming a daughter together. “We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I’m a popping now!” she captioned a gender reveal video. “It’s too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it!”

Back on Her Feet!

Hudson revealed on April 6 that she was “sick” “nauseous” and “exhausted” during her first trimester. But thankfully she’s feeling better now. As she wrote on Instagram: “I have broken through on the other end of that!”

Popping With Excitement 

A source told Us Weekly that Hudson, who is already mom of sons Ryder and Bing, had her fingers crossed for a daughter. “Kate and Danny and over-the-moon ecstatic,” the insiders shared. “Kate has had the baby itch and wanted a girl more than anything.”

Hudson shares Ryder with former Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson and Bingham with Muse’s lead vocalist Matt Bellamy.
