In November 2020, the pregnant Vanderpump Rules star defended her decision to pierce her baby daughter’s ears in the future. “Go ahead and judge me,” Shay said in a podcast episode at the time.
In January 2021, Shay received a horrifying message from an Instagram user wanting to “push” on her stomach and “kill” her baby-to-be. The Bravo personality replied, “This is by far the worst one I’ve ever received. And this bitch has a photo with a kid in her profile!!!! Wow!!!”
The California native thanked an Instagram troll bashing her future parenting skills later that same month, writing, “I wasn’t aware that I’m dumb and broken. LOL.”
Shay then told mom-shamers to “just stop” in January 2021 after being criticized for her diaper purchase, her belly button piercing and more. “All these little tedious messages are so annoying filling up my DMs so I don’t see all the important ones that need to be seen,” she wrote via Instagram.
Shay asked her Instagram followers to “report” a “bad” Instagram user sending her graphic messages about her baby-to-be in February 2021. The troll called the little one “better off dead” than having the California native as a mom.
