Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott gathered with Liam, Stella, Finn and Hattie in their Westlake Village, California, home September 27. Months into her pregnancy, Spelling learned she had a condition called placenta previa, in which the placenta covers the cervix. Spelling’s case — the most severe form — ran the risk of having a massive bleed that could force doctors to terminate the pregnancy and remove the entire uterus in an attempt to save her life. “It was surreal,” Spelling tells Us.
