Oops! Dean McDermott still feels guilty about accidentally sharing a photo of his wife Tori Spelling’s breast on social media.
“Hattie was just born, so this was seven years ago,” the 52-year-old actor recalled of the 2011 incident on the Monday, June 10, episode of his “Daddy Issues” podcast. “And Tori had the big, juicy titties with the breast milk and stuff. We were laying in bed and course, six, seven years ago, I was really new to this social media thing. … It was fairly new.”
The former Chopped Canada host explained to cohosts Adam Hunter and Nicky Paris that he was “goofing around in bed” and playing with kitchen-themed stickers with Spelling, now 46, and then 6-year-old son Liam.
“I took a sticker and put it on my forehead, and I took a selfie, you know, ‘Pot head.’ And then I showed Liam and he was laughing,” McDermott explained. “I put a rolling pin on [Liam’s] forehead and I take a selfie and I put, ‘Dough head.’ … Unbeknownst to me, because I didn’t have my glasses on, was Tori in the back [of the photo], both breasts out because she just finished feeding the baby and I posted it and went to bed.”
The next morning, McDermott revealed that the couple woke up to several photo calls from the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum’s publicist.
“I was mortified,” the Slasher star confessed. “[Tori] is such a champ. I’m not just saying this, I’ve got the best wife in the world. She was just like, ‘Well, they look really good.’ She took it all in stride.”
Eight years ago — when the incident first made headlines — Spelling admitted to CNN that she was “shocked” and “devastated,” but couldn’t stay mad at her husband.
“But it’s like, what am I going to do? I am a mom, I was nursing my baby,” the former Mystery Girls star explained in November 2011. ”[Dean] was so devastated about it that I couldn’t be mad. I mean it was genuinely an accident.”
Spelling and McDermott, who wed in 2006, welcomed two more children after boob-gate. They are parents of sons Liam, 12, Finn, 6, and Beau, 2, and daughters Stella, 11, and Hattie, 7.
