What's in the box?! Amal Alamuddin flew from London to Milan, Italy, with her mom Baria on Thursday, Sept. 25, ahead of her weekend wedding to George Clooney.
The British Barrister, 36, touched down in a pair of torn jeans, lime green T-shirt, sneakers, and a black jacket. Alamuddin packed light for the momentous occasion, wheeling a suitcase in her right hand as she carried a garment box in the other.
Her voluminous brunette tresses looked blown-out and ready for the secret-filled ceremony as she smiled for photographers in the airport.
Clooney let it slip at an event in Florence earlier this month that he and Alamuddin will be exchanging vows in the ancient, watery city of Venice. "I would just like to say to my bride-to-be, Amal, that I love you very much," the two-time Oscar winner said in his speech. "And I can't wait to be your husband."
As exclusively reported by Us Weekly, Alamuddin's parents, Baria and Ramzi Alamuddin, will be footing the bill for the wedding. "Crazy enough," a source told Us, "her family is paying for most of it!"
The future spouses are anticipating big-name guests at their nuptials, including pals like Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford, as well as Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana. "It's all very classy," the same source told Us of the black-tie affair.
Clooney proposed to the London-based lawyer this past April, after they started dating in late 2013. "This is the healthiest relationship I've ever seen George in," a source told Us at the time of their engagement. "He seems incredibly happy, and Amal is such a sweet and intelligent girl, who has her own thoughts and ideas and doesn't just bow down to everything he says."
This will be the second wedding for Clooney, who was previously married to Mad Men actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993.
