Here's to new beginnings!
When the third season of MTV's Teen Mom kicks off July 5, Amber Portwood will show fans a drastically different persona than the one they saw last season.
"I'm looking to start new," the 21-year-old mom of 2-year-old Leah says in a new preview clip for the season, above. First on Portwood's to-do list? Find a new home for her and her daughter to share.
Later, Portwood is seen reuniting with her on-again, off-again babydaddy, Gary Shirley. But as the clip shows, Portwood still struggles to keep her temper in check. "Watch your mouth, before I take Leah from you!" Shirley snaps when Portwood curses in the car with their daughter in the backseat.
As Portwood works to overcome her past legal troubles, her costars see similar challenges. Watch above as Maci Bookout struggles in school, Farrah Abraham takes daughter Sophia to her deceased father's grave, and Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra wonder just how daughter Carly's life has changed since they gave her up for adoption.
Teen Mom premieres July 5 at 10 p.m. (EST) on MTV.
