Congratulations! American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino has married her fiance Kendall Taylor.
The 31-year-old singer took to Instagram on Sunday, July 19, to share pictures of her big day which took place on board a luxury yacht, with everything from the table decorations, to the cake and the outfits in Barrino's color scheme of red, black and white.
Barrino shared a stunning photograph of her and her new husband cuddling up on the deck of the boat (Barrino wearing a pretty white dress with white lace sleeves, her husband in a matching white suit). She beams as she holds a red posy of flowers with the ocean in the background. "Those who really know me know that I LOVE Water.. Can you see it? How Happy I am.. This Man.." she captioned the photo. "God made him just for Me and me Just For Him.. This Man.. Covers and prays for me and my children EVERY morning.. This Man.. Loves My Father in Heaven and his name is God.. This Man allows me to just be a woman."
Barrino, who is currently on her honeymoon, took a moment to thank everyone who had played a part in her "most unique and memorable" day — from her makeup artist Loretta who also made her cake, to her and her new husband's mothers for "witnessing your babies take flight!"
The 2004 Idol winner, who has two children Dallas, 3 and daughter, Zion, 13, from previous relationships, is hoping her marriage with Taylor (who is the COO of a courier company in North Carolina) will be the happy ending she was always looking for.
"No more Hurt because King Kendall will never let that happen.. I'm off to just kiss, Hug and play in some water with This Man.. Look at Him in the pic YEP!! HE COVERS ME..
