The Emmys 2015 backstage party got off to a flying start when Outstanding Variety Sketch Series winner Amy Schumer offered to make out with “anyone who’s willing!”

The 34-year-old comedienne told reporters, including Us Weekly, that she had some very unique celebrations planned to make sure she never forgot her big night at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, Sept. 20!

“Honestly [I’ll make out with] anyone who’s willing,” Schumer insisted, adding, cheekily. “I brought my own lube. I don’t know if that interests everyone but yes, really, anyone!” she said.

Most people would struggle to follow Schumer’s wit, but joining the backstage celebrations, Best Actress in a Drama winner Viola Davis showed her evening wasn’t just about her historic achievement and her inspirational acceptance speech.

When asked how she planned to celebrate her huge night, the How to Get Away With Murder actress had the perfect response!

“Eating!” she replied, instantly. “Bread, dessert….You know if you eat bread in Hollywood, you’re subversive,” she added. “And drink! One, two, three, four drinks. And calling my daughter!”

And had anyone exciting congratulated her on her win? “Jon Hamm! He’s pretty handsome,” Davis replied candidly. “And my husband!” she added quickly, having a laugh at her faux pas.

Handsome Hamm, who finally won a Best Actor Emmy for his role in Mad Man after eight years of nominations, revealed he found the entire experience of accepting his award overwhelming, while insisting that saying, “Phew, about time!” was never on his mind.

“I felt like saying a lot of things and that was not one of them,” the grateful actor responded. “I was very surprised on stage,” he added. “I think I said thank you!”

Regina King also celebrated her win backstage (for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series), and found herself searching for some mild language as she was told, during her post-award interview, that Davis had won for Best Actress.

“I want to curse now,” she said, excitedly. “What I really want to say is another word for ‘Heck yeah!’ That’s pretty awesome!”

But while the mood was generally upbeat and hilarious backstage at the Microsoft Theater, Tracy Morgan had an emotional moment which brought the pressroom to silence (and even a few tears) as he talked about his unexpected Emmys appearance.

“I wanted to walk my wife down the aisle with no cane,” Morgan said of his post-accident ambitions. “And after that was done my publicist, Louis K, said, ‘Well maybe you should let Hollywood welcome you back home.’ And that’s what happened. God allowed me the opportunity to be in front of my peers and they said, ‘Welcome back Tray,’” he said, his voice cracking with emotion.

“[My speech] came from the heart,” a tearful Morgan continued. “I just wanted to say to my peers, comrades, and to the people in TV land, thank you very much.”
