Amy Schumer tweeted a text message from Kevin Hart on Saturday, Oct. 10, hours before hosting Saturday Night Live

Amy Schumer tweeted what she called a “hostile text” she received from Kevin Hart on Saturday morning prior to hosting the Oct. 10 episode of Saturday Night Live.

“Hey I know your hosting SNL tonight… If you get nervous during your monologue just tell the audience that you know me,” Hart texted. “I promise it will help.”

Hart knows a thing or two about hosting the NBC show, as he previously hosted earlier this year on Jan. 17. His text message continued:

“Or you can FaceTime me but I probably wouldn’t be able to pick up because I’m busy doing stuff. Just spit balling here… I’m trying to help… you know what f–k it… you will be fine… I hope.. God bless…K Hart out.”

Schumer, 34, first tweeted about hosting the show early Saturday morning, writing, “Excuse me, Mom and Dad, I am hosting Saturday Night Live tonight.” She included a baby photo of herself in the tweet.

Saturday night’s episode will be the Inside Amy Schumer star’s first time hosting the show.
