Anna Kendrick and Edgar Wright have ended their four-year relationship, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly. The Pitch Perfect actress, 27, and the Shaun of the Dead director, 38, began dating in 2009 after meeting on the set of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
"She's single," a source says of Kendrick, who next appears opposite Olivia Wilde in the comedy Drinking Buddies. "It was done a little while ago."
Kendrick, who recently took a trip to Mexico with a handful of pals, seems to be in good spirits. One day after Sean Lowe asked Catherine Giudici to marry him on The Bachelor, the Up in the Air actress joked about what might happen if she were cast on the ABC hit.
"If I were a contestant on The Bachelor I'd just end up falling in love with the weird sound guy and making things uncomfortable for everyone," she tweeted March 12. "To all the people joking about becoming sound guys, you should also know they put mics in actresses' cleavage/packs on inner thighs. Think about it."
British filmmaker Wright, meanwhile, is busy editing his latest movie World's End, starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Martin Freeman.
