Joynt, who was 29 when she competed on ABC's long-running reality show in 2014, revealed the news via Instagram on Sunday, Feb. 8, sharing a photo of herself kissing her new fiance and showing off her gorgeous diamond engagement ring.

"I've always been a skeptic when it came to love," she wrote alongside the pic. "I've often wondered if there was a better fit for me out there. I've doubted my choices and focused on the imperfections. I've rarely been certain. But I've never been more sure of anything in this world than I am of this love. Thank you, @machinelevine, for making me a believer. I love you."

Joynt was one of the early frontrunners when controversial Bachelor Galavis looked for love after being rejected by season nine Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock. The Venezuelan former soccer player gave her the first impression rose on the premiere, and repeatedly said she "could be the one."

Joynt said she was very physically attracted to him but expressed concerns about their "cerebral connection" — or lack thereof. "It disturbs me," she once said. "I should be able to have a conversation [with him]."

Her doubts ultimately led her to leave the show in episode seven. However, it appears there are no hard feelings between the two, as Galavis sent his congratulations on her engagement via Twitter.
