Someone to sing duets with! Bachelor in Paradise’s Carly Waddell has a new boyfriend, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm. The Season 2 alum reveals to Us that she’s dating fellow Nashville singer-songwriter Erik DiNardo.
“He is the best human,” Waddell, 29, tells Us. “I love Nashville! It’s the first place I have ever lived that feels like home!”
Waddell first hinted at the new relationship in a Snapchat video back in September. At the time, she was hanging out with her beau and friend Juelia Kinney, who also appeared on Season 19 of The Bachelor, which featured Chris Soules.
“I’m sort of dating this guy, and we’re in the Bridgestone Arena, and we’re the only people here,” she said in the clip. On November 1, she also posted a sweet snap of the lovebirds. “Smiling is my favorite,” she gushed.
Earlier this month, Waddell clarified that the new man in her life is not her ex-boyfriend Kirk DeWindt. “Clear up the new boy sitch #notkirk,” she captioned a cute photo of DiNardo on December 10.

As previously reported, Waddell and DeWindt met during Season 2 of ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise. Days before leaving Mexico, however, DeWindt shocked Waddell when he questioned moving forward with their relationship. They discussed their messy split during the reunion, and Waddell later wrote the song “Blindsided” about him.
