Former ‘Bachelor’ Villain Olivia Caridi: ‘UnREAL’ Is Exactly Like ‘The Bachelor’

Bachelorette Panel Live With Olivia Caridi!

The Bachelorette panel: Olivia Caridi dished on what it’s really like to be dubbed the villain, how real is UnREAL, what she thinks of Chad and ALL of last night’s drama.

Lifetime’s UnREAL is “scary accurate” when compared to The Bachelor, says Bachelor alum Olivia Caridi.

The season 20 villain sat down with Us Weekly Video’s Christina Garibaldi and Us Weekly Assistant Editor Jamie Blynn for the season 12 Bachelorette panel to dish about Chad, how accurate Lifetime’s UnREAL is and why she’ll never be on Bachelor in Paradise.

In the video above, the Bachelor alum is asked about the similarities between the ABC dating show, and she exclusively told Us Weekly Video, “Obviously there’s a little hyperbole involved in UnREAL. [But] there’s a reason Chris Harrison and The Bachelor are bothered by it.”

Caridi added, “It was freaky seeing the comparisons and being like, ‘That’s what happens.’”

Speaking about JoJo Fletcher‘s notorious season 12 castoff Chad, Caridi commiserated with how he was likely edited because they’re both part of the “villain clique.” She also said, “The celebration for his demise, if you will, was pretty great. At least no one celebrated when I went home. But he will be missed. He was the show, so I will miss him.”

She also ruined the dreams of Bachelor fans everywhere when she said she’ll never be on Bachelor in Paradise. “They wanted me bad, but it’s just not my scene. I couldn’t do it. I just knew what it was going to be. I was going to show up and it’s just attack, attack, attack!” Simply put, Caridi said, “I didn’t go to Paradise, because I didn’t want to go to Paradise.” Several of her season 20 cohorts will be appearing on Bachelor in Paradise later this summer, including Amanda Stanton, Lace Morris and Jubilee Sharpe.
