Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin 2.0? Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner appear to be following the consciously uncoupled guide to divorce. The exes, who announced their split after 10 years of marriage in a joint statement to Us Weekly on June 30, will be residing on the same rented property with their three kids while Garner films in Atlanta, Ga., sources tell Us.
The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star, 42, landed in Atlanta on Wednesday, July 7, and according to an insider, headed straight to Garner’s temporary pad’s guest house, where he’ll be staying to spend time with their kids Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.
On Wednesday, July 8, Garner, 43, went to the set of her flick Miracles From Heaven, while Affleck took on dad duty and dropped off the kids at the Lovett School, where they’re participating in a summer program.
The Argo star returned to Los Angeles early from their family trip to the Bahamas to “cool off for a few days” and for a work meeting before reuniting with his clan in Atlanta, a source tells Us.
“Ben is doing some work there as well,” the source adds. “But he is mostly going to be with the kids while Jen works.” As previously reported, the actor is scheduled to appear at Comic-Con this Saturday in San Diego.
