Bill Rancic: Who I’m Rooting for on Celebrity Apprentice

Seven years after taking the title of Donald Trump's very first Apprentice, Bill Rancic says he still makes the NBC series appointment television.

As the latest Celebrity Apprentice installment premieres Sunday, Bill sat down with UsMagazine.com to handicap this season's competitors, including Star Jones, LaToya Jackson, Gary Busey and NeNe Leakes.

"I think this season's Celebrity Apprentice is going to be a good one. The word on the street is Star Jones and Lisa Rinna really go at it," he told Us during a visit to our New York City office to promote the work he and wife Giuliana do with NIVEA.

"They are damn near fighting to the death," Bill, 39, hints. "I think Star Jones is a tough competitor. She knows the business world, so she's going to be tough. Richard Hatch is the ultimate Survivor. He can definitely use some of his Survivor skills to cause a little bit of friction with the teams."

As he's dishing on the new season's competitors, Bill can't help but recall his time on the show's 2004 installment.

"We got two to three hours of sleep a night," Bill says. "It was just grueling and you start to break down. That's when you can really see who's cut out to be the winner. It's not only mentally challenging, it's physically challenging."

When his wife Giuliana, 36, asks who her husband bunked with during his stint, Bill offers Us an exclusive tidbit!

"Did Omarosa ever sneak into your room in the middle of the night?" asks Giuliana.

"She tried a couple times," Bill demurs.

"No she did not!" says a shocked Giuliana. "She tried to get a piece of the Rancic?! That's an Us Weekly exclusive!"
