Such friendly exes! Billy Bob Thornton revealed in a new interview that he and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie are still a big part of one another's lives.
Speaking to relationship site YourTango, Thornton, 58, commented on his relationship with the actress, saying "of course" he is still in touch with her.
"She's amazing, amazing," the star of the new FX series Fargo said of Jolie. "She's got so much energy and so much goodness in her, and we check in on each other all the time."
"She makes sure I'm doing okay," he continued. "I make sure she's doing okay."
Brad Pitt's fiancée, 38, was married to Thornton for two notably intense years — complete with matching blood-vial necklaces — before separating in 2002 and officially finalizing their divorce in May 2003. The couple planned to adopt Jolie's son Maddox together, but she adopted him from Cambodia as a single parent before the split. She and Pitt, 50, stepped out as a couple in 2005, and now share six kids.
The Armageddon actor has expressed his dismay over the end of his marriage to the Maleficent actress in the past. "I blew it because I didn’t think I was good enough for her," he told Nightline in 2012. "She has one way she wanted to live her life and I had another way to live mine and I was just too insecure."
