Squashing her own pregnancy rumor! Blake Lively made a funny joke about her nonexistent second pregnancy on Monday, Aug. 10, by bringing — what else? — food into the equation.
"No, that's not a baby in my belly… It's guacamole," the Age of Adaline actress, 27, wrote, alongside a snap of herself surrounded by a team of chefs in a kitchen. "Niño Viejo and Hoja Santa= Amaze." In the photo, the mom to baby James (and wife to Ryan Reynolds) wears a heather gray T-shirt with a pink high-waisted skirt that is decorated with black and white cookie designs.
"P.S. Recognize the print of the skirt?" she added in the caption. "Skirt and tshirt another codesign of mine for @preserve_us ????… Well now I'm just bragging. Jerk."
Lively and Reynolds currently have their hands full with their 7-month-old daughter, whom they welcomed last December. Just last week, the Deadpool actor commented about his wife's breastfeeding and the latest on little James during a late-night appearance.
"Right now she's starting to say 'mama,'" Reynolds told Conan O'Brien of his child. "There's an unfair advantage there. It turns out that breasts are actually a life support system and the child seems to gravitate towards the breasts. I'm just the breastless a–hole wandering around the room and getting in her sightline every once in a while."
He also said Lively deserved a medal in the delivery room. "I mean, she is a mercenary," the Proposal star gushed of his gorgeous wife. "At one point in the middle of the delivery, the doctor's cell phone went off and she said, 'Oh, no. Go ahead, take a personal call. Feel free.' She was cracking jokes in the delivery room."
The Preserve founder was also posting jokes on Instagram over the weekend, including one in which she compared herself to the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.
"I was beginning to Duchess of Cambridge it a bit too often, except not awesome like she does it," Lively wrote of repeating her outfits, alongside a stylish new snap with her mom. "Thank you @preserve_us for intervening with our killer new threads. Obsessed. My mama still wins as best dressed though. ???? all in favor say aye!"
