Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are the cutest, most unexpected couple ever. After her rep confirmed exclusively to Us Weekly on Wednesday, Nov. 4, that The Voice coaches are dating, the duo attended a CMAs after party together hand in hand that night.
Dressed down in jeans and a black jacket, Stefani, 46, looked at ease carrying a glass of wine in one hand while holding onto her new country crooner boyfriend’s hand with the other as they headed to the Warner Music Group CMA party in Nashville, Tenn. Shelton, 39, looked happy to be by Stefani’s side after performing at the awards show, where he lost Male Vocalist of the Year to Chris Stapleton.
“Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating,” Stefani's spokesperson, who would not comment further, told Us prior to the awards show.
According to a source, Shelton’s date night didn't bother his ex-wife Miranda Lambert, who won big at the CMAs, snagging Female Vocalist of the Year.
“She had her suspicions but didn’t really know it was a real thing until the announcement,” an insider told Us of the 31-year-old “Little Red Wagon” singer. “But she doesn’t care. She’s divorced and he can date who he wants.”
